THE PROPERTY
Built in the late 19th century, the property served its vineyard for wine production. The central body originally hosted a tank for crushing grapes, which, through ingenious conduits, led the must into the cistern below for it to be stored. Today, it is possible to access the cistern through a large trapdoor located in the center of the kitchen, which allows an easy passage to the underground cellar and pantry. In fact, from a study of the original architecture, it can be deduced that the property was built by skilled Mastri Trullai, who traditionally raised the walls with tuff collected from the excavations for the cisterns.

The furnishing elements of the property are an expression of the ancient Apulian rural tradition, carefully selected from the local markets or recovered from our trusted second-hand dealers.
The property has an extensive outdoor area, complete with dining table, a kitchen, a relaxation area with large sofas and a swimming pool available in the summer months. Via an ancient external staircase, also part of the original structure, it is also possible to enjoy the delightful panorama by accessing the Cones.

BIO-ARCHITECTURE
The restoration intervention was characterized by the use of materials and technologies proper to bio-architecture, in harmony with the ancient construction tradition of the Itria Valley. The renovation of the property was conducted in such a way as to safeguard the original architecture, preserving the existing rooms, niches and passages.
